Keep Oven Clean: To keep your oven clean by using aluminum foil hacks, you’ll simply want to wrap the bottom rack of the oven with aluminum foil and replace it when it gets dirty, It is no longer recommended to add aluminum foil to the bottom of an oven as this has been known to cause house fires. In fact, many new ovens have a notice in the oven stating that you cannot line it with foil.
Tarnish: Use aluminum foil, baking soda, salt, and vinegar to remove tarnish from silver. To polish your silver line your sink with aluminum foil and fill that space with 2 inches of very hot water. Add 2tbsp of baking soda and 2tbsp of salt to the water. Add in the silver items that are tarnished and watch the tarnish disappear through a process called ion exchange. Rinse off your silver with water and dry with a soft microfiber cloth.

Sharpen Scissors: Keep your kitchen scissors sharp by cutting up folded sheets of aluminum foil several times. Here is how you do this:
- Take long sheets of aluminum foil and fold lengthwise until it is about 1″ thick.
- Cut the foil lengthwise with your scissors until you notice them getting sharper.
- Test your scissors on paper to ensure they are sharp enough.
- Wipe your scissors and put them away until you are ready to use them.

- 2 cups of distilled white vinegar

- Aluminum foil
- A water hose
Before you get started with cleaning the Barbeque with aluminum foil, burn off any leftover foods on the grill, and let the barbeque cool completely. Use the spray bottle to spray vinegar onto the grill. The scrub the grill with a crumpled up piece of aluminum foil. Remove the grill from the Barbeque and rinse it off with a hose. Wipe down the barbeque completely to make the entire unit shine.
Remove Rust Off Chrome: Rusty chrome can be restored with a simple scrub of aluminum foil. Use hot soapy water (dish soap is great) and dip a microfiber cloth into the water. Wipe the chrome surface with the cloth to make it wet and soapy. Dip some balled-up aluminum foil into the water and gently scrub the rust stain away. Keep scrubbing gently until it is all gone. Use the cloth to wipe away the rust that has come loose. When you have finished removing the rust, buff the chrome clean with a dry microfiber cloth.

Make sure the iron is hot and run it along the salt several times until it it clean. Move the iron along a piece of foil that has no salt on it to clean off remaining salt and residue. Once it dries, feel free to wipe it with a dry cloth for extra shine.
